Creditors' Rights Attorney
Remote based in Franklin, Tennessee
Jones Networking is recruiting for a Creditors' Rights Attorney for a remote career opportunity to join a growing Law Firm in Franklin, TN. This role focuses exclusively on creditors’ rights matters, including collections, bankruptcy, and related litigation.
Responsibilities of the Creditors' Rights Attorney:
- Provide direct client interaction with frequent courtroom experience in creditors’ rights cases
- Represent clients in court throughout Tennessee
- Prepare, draft, and file legal documents related to collections, bankruptcy, and creditor enforcement
- Conduct legal research and analysis specific to creditors’ rights
- Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and strategies in collections and enforcement matters
- Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes within creditors’ rights practice
- Travel to court multiple times per week
- Maintain compliance with all applicable legal standards, rules, and regulations
Requirements of the Creditors' Rights Attorney:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) required
- Licensed to practice law in Tennessee
- Experience in creditors’ rights, collections, or bankruptcy litigation preferred
- Admission to the Federal District Courts of Tennessee a is a plus
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- 2–5 years of relevant practice experience preferred
- Willingness to travel for court appearances
- Ability to work independently with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and flexible to support firm needs as required
