Position Overview
As a Service Advisor at Jones Motor Company, you are the key point of contact for our customers throughout the service process. You will guide customers from initial consultation to final delivery, ensuring clear communication, accurate repair recommendations, and complete satisfaction.
Your role is critical in building trust and long-term relationships with our customers.
Responsibilities
- Greet every customer with professionalism, hospitality, and respect.
- Clearly explain recommended services and repairs in a way that is easy to understand.
- Manage the service workflow efficiently to meet customer expectations.
- Communicate updates on vehicle status promptly and accurately.
- Consistently and ethically sell services without compromising honesty or integrity.
- Maintain a positive attitude and foster a team-oriented environment.
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments in a professional manner.
- Build strong, long-term relationships between customers and Jones Motor Company.
- Coordinate customer shuttle service as needed.
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with technicians and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Proficiency with Windows-based software and automotive service applications.
- Previous experience in automotive service advising, writing, or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday.
- Occasionally lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
- Maintain a brisk work pace in a high-volume setting.
- Dependable and reliable for scheduled hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM(No weekends).
