Nanny/Babysitter

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children while engaging them in educational and fun activities. This position requires a strong commitment to childcare and the ability to adapt to the unique needs of each child.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Create engaging activities that promote learning and development, including educational games and crafts.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up play areas and preparing children's spaces.
• Provide care for a child including diaper changes, feeding, and soothing.
• Support preschool-aged children with age-appropriate educational activities.
• Offer caregiving support for children with disabilities, adapting activities as needed to ensure inclusion.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
• Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a first aid kit readily available.

Experience

• Proven experience in childcare or babysitting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with infant care techniques and preschool education practices.
• Experience working with children who have disabilities is a plus.
• Strong understanding of caregiving principles, including patience, empathy, and effective communication skills.
• Certification in first aid or willingness to obtain certification is preferred.
