We are entering our next phase of growth and seeking a proven Sales Manager to lead our Client Relationship Specialists (closers) and Intake team toward consistent, measurable success.
Role Purpose
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving consistent sales conversion rates above 50% across the team by directly coaching, managing, and holding accountable the sales staff. This is a hands-on, floor-general role: running huddles, reviewing calls, enforcing scripts, and ensuring intake and sales processes produce predictable, high-value results. We have a robust marketing team that brings in warm leads daily for our sales team. No cold calling needed, we have warm leads for you and your team to close!
Key Responsibilities
Sales Team Performance
- Own the month-to-month performance of the sales team (hitting or missing targets).
- Lead daily sales huddles and weekly pipeline review calls.
- Step in as a backup closer when needed, covering team absences, handling overflow, or demonstrating best practices. This is not a quota-carrying role but requires proven ability to close so the team sees standards modeled in practice.
- Maintain daily and weekly metrics on the sales funnel and pipeline.
- Prepare reports with relevant sales data for the CEO and CGO.
Coaching & Training
- Conduct live and recorded call reviews (2–3 hrs/week per team member).
- Provide weekly 1:1 coaching sessions for each team member.
- Roleplay objection handling and enforce consistent script usage.
- Develop and execute a monthly sales training program.
- Ensure each salesperson has a quarterly Sales Development Plan.
Accountability & Reporting
- Track and report on:
- Number of consultations booked, show-ups, and closes
- Conversion % by salesperson and team-wide
- Intake booking rate (target 75% ) and show-up rate (85–95%)
- Average case value, refunds, and monthly pacing
- Deliver weekly updates to leadership with clear performance analysis.
Intake Alignment
- Oversee intake team performance standards (booking and qualifying leads correctly).
- Audit intake scripts, workflows, and CRM entries weekly to ensure consistency.
- Partner with CGO/Intake Lead to maintain accurate lead flow and data.
- Ensure smooth handoff from intake to sales.
Client Success Management
- Manage and oversee the client success role responsible for calling past clients and warm leads.
- Ensure consistent daily outreach to reactivate opportunities, maintain relationships, and generate referrals.
- Set and track daily/weekly call targets, ensuring all calls are logged in the CRM.
- Monitor performance metrics (appointments booked, reactivated clients, referrals) and provide coaching for continuous improvement.
- Audit call quality weekly to confirm scripts are followed and conversations remain professional and client-centered.
Collaboration with Growth/Marketing
- Provide feedback to CGO on lead quality and objections encountered.
- Align sales scripts with marketing campaigns to maintain consistency.
- Support testing of guerrilla tactics and campaigns by reporting real-time conversion impact.
Qualifications
- 5 years of sales management experience in high-ticket services (law, finance, medical, or consulting).
- Experience managing inbound sales teams locally and internationally. (preferred)
- Proven track record of leading teams to 50% conversion.
- Strong communication, coaching, and accountability skills.
- Data-driven and disciplined in CRM/sales reporting.
- High-energy leader with presence, growth mindset, and ability to hold the floor.
Compensation
- Base salary of $75,000 Bonus target of additional $125,000 - (Up to $200,000/yr)
