We are seeking a versatile and energetic Production Floater to join our manufacturing team. Duties
- Assist in the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment using hand tools, power tools, and machining techniques
- Support assembly and materials handling activities across different production stations
- Able to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move raw materials and finished products
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and work areas to uphold safety standards and identify maintenance needs
- Collaborate with team members on projects within the facility as needed
- Maintain accurate records of materials movement, equipment usage, and production activities
- Adapt quickly to various roles within the production environment to ensure continuous workflow
Qualifications
- Prior experience operating industrial machinery and previous work in a manufacturing environment required
- Proficiency with forklift operation and basic mechanical knowledge required
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools
- Strong understanding of materials handling, assembly, and machining processes
- Ability to work safely around machinery and follow safety protocols diligently
- Excellent teamwork skills with a flexible attitude toward shifting responsibilities
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks throughout the shift
