Description: Jones Bros is seeking a Full-Time Scale Clerk for our Aggregates Division in Alexandria, TN. The ideal candidate is motivated, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for operating the truck scale system, taking customer orders, dispatching trucks, and performing general clerical duties in accordance with established procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate truck scales for the dispatch and delivery of products and materials.
- Answer customer calls and assist with customer service needs.
- Take customer orders and coordinate truck dispatching.
- Assist with processing paperwork for corporate accounting systems, including payables, payroll, and related documentation.
- Support sales staff with customer service responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Entry-level position.
- High school diploma required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task in a busy work environment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
