Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Create engaging activities that promote learning and development, including educational games and crafts.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up play areas and preparing children's spaces.
- Provide care for a child including diaper changes, feeding, and soothing.
- Support preschool-aged children with age-appropriate educational activities.
- Offer caregiving support for children with disabilities, adapting activities as needed to ensure inclusion.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a first aid kit readily available.
Experience
- Proven experience in childcare or babysitting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with infant care techniques and preschool education practices.
- Experience working with children who have disabilities is a plus.
- Strong understanding of caregiving principles, including patience, empathy, and effective communication skills.
- Certification in first aid or willingness to obtain certification is preferred.
