Jonco Group Paint and Fix is looking to add a Part Time to Full Time painting pro to our team as we grow. Now is the time to get in on the ground floor, show us what you can do, and earn a place leading your own teams in the future. We are willing to train the right person but would love people who have real painting experience or at least some skill with their hands. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, transforming spaces through expert painting techniques and hands-on maintenance skills. The ideal candidate will be energetic, safety-conscious, and possess a strong background in construction painting, renovation, and general handyman tasks. You will be instrumental in ensuring high-quality finishes and maintaining the integrity of our clients’ properties, all while adhering to safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, patching, and applying primer to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality
• Execute interior and exterior painting projects using brush, roller, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and conventional spray techniques for residential, commercial, and industrial settings
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately complete remodeling, renovation, or maintenance tasks
• Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and masonry equipment safely to perform repairs or structural painting tasks
• Install fixtures, frame carpentry elements, drywall, as needed during renovation projects
• Conduct surface preparation such as sanding drywall or plastering to ensure smooth paint application and long-lasting results
• Follow safety protocols diligently by wearing respiratory protection and other personal protective equipment while adhering to all safety regulations on construction sites

Qualifications

• demonstratable experience in residential painting, commercial painting, industrial coating applications, and/or basic handyman services
• Skilled in various painting techniques including brush painting, roller painting, construction spray painting, and airless paint spraying
• Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and proper use of safety equipment including respiratory protection
• Experience with surface preparation processes such as drywall repair, caulking, plastering, and stucco application.
• Competence in using hand tools, power tools (including scaffolding), ladders safely and effectively for various tasks
• Prior experience in remodeling projects or general maintenance work is desirable but we will train the right individual.
• Must have a valid drivers license and personal transportation.

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
