What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Coordinator position at JONATHAN Y DESIGNS?
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Coordinator to join our team at JONATHAN Y. The ideal candidate will help manage product quality issues, support cross-functional communication, and identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency within the quality control and compliance process.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with Product Development, Customer Service and Sales teams to support quality and compliance needs.
- Coordinate with manufacturers regarding product quality concerns, corrective actions, and ongoing quality improvements.
- Track and follow up on product issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Assist with reviewing product specifications, testing reports, and quality-related documentation.
- Support internal teams with product quality updates and issue resolution.
- Collect, organize, maintain, and track compliance documentation from manufacturers and vendors, including but not limited to testing reports, certifications, product compliance documents and factory and vendor information.
- Ensure all required documentation is complete, current, and properly filed.
- Share compliance documentation with internal departments as needed.
- Follow up with manufacturers to obtain missing or updated documents in a timely manner.
- Provide status updates on outstanding documentation, product issues, and compliance requests.
- Identify opportunities to improve organization, tracking systems, and overall workflow efficiency to reduce delays and improve internal communication.
- Help develop and maintain standardized procedures for documentation management and issue tracking.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
- Experience improving operational workflows or internal processes.
Pay: $52,686.80 - $63,450.77 per year
