Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience
- Demonstrate jewelry pieces through engaging product demos to highlight features and craftsmanship
- Assist customers in selecting jewelry that fits their style and needs, upselling when appropriate to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising and stocking practices
- Conduct product demos and educate customers on jewelry care, features, and benefits
- Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, restocking shelves, and participating in merchandise organization
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments
Requirements
- Prior retail sales experience, preferably in jewelry or luxury accessories, with supervising experience a plus but not required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are highly valued but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
- Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as stocking, organizing displays, and maintaining store cleanliness
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
- Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques to boost sales performance
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing inventory counts
- Previous experience in grocery stores or other retail environments is beneficial but not required
