Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Substitute Montessori Guide to join our educational team. This role is essential in providing continuity of support for children. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for Montessori education, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a Montessori classroom environment effectively.
Duties
- Implement and maintain lesson plans to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of learning.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Engage children in meaningful activities that promote their ongoing social, emotional, and academic development.
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere that supports emotional and social development.
- Communicate effectively with children, staff, and families.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
Qualifications
- All applicants must qualify as an Assistant Teacher in MN; qualifications as a Lead Teacher preferred.
- Montessori Early Childhood (ages 3-6) Credential preferred (AMI or AMS).
- All applicants must pass a Federal background check
- Have, or be willing to attain, First Aid or CPR certification within the first 60 days of employment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and colleagues.

Pay: $24.00 - $27.76 per hour
