Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Chaska, MN. The Montessori Co-Guide Long-Term Sub will work closely with the Lead Guide to provide a consistent, supportive, and engaging learning environment. Main responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of the learning environment, guiding students through their individualized learning paths, observing and recording student progress, and maintaining clear communication with families and staff. The goal is to ensure the smooth operation of the classroom and the educational advancement of each child.
Qualifications
- Experience in early childhood education and Montessori teaching practices preferred
- Strong observational and evaluative skills
- Ability to foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children
- Early Childhood certifications and training in Montessori education preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, or a related field is a plus
