Experienced family law attorney, Jonathan D. Isaacs, Esquire, is looking to hire a law clerk, paralegal, or litigation assistant trainee to conduct legal research, draft discovery, and prepare exhibits for upcoming trials. Applicants should have work experience as a paralegal, hold a paralegal certificate from an accredited college program, or be currently-enrolled college students or law school students interested in gaining valuable hands-on experience with the legal process and with legal writing.
The role of the candidate is to provide support and assistance to Mr. Isaacs and his associate attorney, Joy Ceesay-Lamin. Such support shall consist primarily of document review, drafting, and organization efforts. Additional responsibilities may include those typical of an office: filing, typing, answering the phone, composing memos, preparing exhibits, meeting with clients, hand-deliveries to offices or court(s), and so on.
Degrees Wanted: Associates, Bachelors, Certificate
Majors Wanted: Criminal Justice; History; English; Paralegal Studies; Political Science; Sociology
Special Skills Wanted: Associate's or Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in a related field (i.e. Political Science, History, Communications, English, Sociology), or paralegal certificate

Position is part-time, up to 30 hours per week. Office is located in Rockville Town Center within walking distance from metro. Candidates must be available to start immediately. Salary is commensurate with experience.
