RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer inbound calls and walk-ins; assist with policy questions, billing, and coverage changes
- Process endorsements, payments, and policy service requests accurately and promptly
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities during service interactions (auto, home, life, etc.)
- Quote and write new business for existing customers and referrals
- Follow up on leads, referrals, and renewal/retention efforts
- Maintain accurate records in agency management system
- Support marketing initiatives (community events, social media, referral programs)
- Deliver a consistently excellent customer experience that reinforces retention
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active Property & Casualty license required (or willingness to obtain within 30–60 days); Life & Health license a plus
- Prior insurance, sales, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with basic sales conversations and asking for the business
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with computers/CRM systems
