Job Overview
Jonas Corporation, a plastics manufacturing firm, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our quickly growing team at our Savannah, Georgia facility! As a Production Operator, you will be a valuable part of our manufacturing operations team, responsible for ensuring manufacturing quotas are met in a timely manner while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. In addition, our Production Operators work closely with other team members to maintain a clean work environment and improve our production processes.
Responsibilities
- Directly responsible for production performance regarding output and quality.
- Regularly inspect, clean, and pack products according to customer specifications.
- Ensure accuracy of data reporting for production equipment and product quality.
- Maintain conformance with safety, environmental, housekeeping, and 6S standards.
- Other shop floor related duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be able to handle regular walking, standing, sitting, and frequent visual attention.
- Must be able to complete tasks that require pushing, pulling, reaching, handling, and occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Must maintain a positive, respectful attitude while using clear communication with other associates and management.
- Must be comfortable working in an indoor manufacturing environment with exposure to various elements of heat, cold, noise, and dust.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.75 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
