Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Most of the time is spent in a typical office environment requiring the ability to use a computer for extended lengths of time. Occasionally this position will need to stand, reach, bend, lift, stoop and kneel.
Most of the time is spent in a typical office environment with moderate noise exposure (for example: business office with computers and printers, light traffic.) Occasionally this position is required to enter the machine shop production area with loud noise exposure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the development & support of the Quality Data Collection Process.
- Developing and creating the inspection Control Plans (receiving, in-process and final inspection).
- Create bubbled engineering drawings, First Article Inspection (FAI) documents.
- Assign Metrology equipment to Work Order for improved traceability.
- Ability to conduct Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility (GR&R) studies for variable gages and develop appropriate action plans for gages with unfavorably high variation relative to customer requirements and/or standard industry practice.
- Summarize inspection data per customer requirements.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities.
- Understand the requirements of the Quality Systems such as best documentation practices, quality standards, and basic AS9100/ISO requirements.
- Other projects, responsibilities, and tasks may be assigned based on business needs and the inherent strengths of the individual selected for this role.
- Demonstrates professionalism and works effectively within cross-functional teams, including during sensitive or challenging discussions.
- Working knowledge of formal problem-solving methodologies, including containment, immediate corrective action, root cause analysis, permanent corrective action, and verification of effectiveness.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and a habit of self-verifying work for accuracy.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while completing tasks accurately and on time, adapting effectively to interruptions, delays, and changing requirements.
- Ability to make objective, data-driven decisions using statistical analysis tools and methods to quantify variation, including process capability, control charts, and foundational probability concepts used in sampling plans.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheet creation, data manipulation, use of basic formulas, and sorting and filtering data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact directly with customers, suppliers, peers, and stakeholders at various organizational levels.
- Basic understanding of process auditing to industry or regulatory standards, including the ability to identify and clearly document gaps between observed processes and applicable requirements.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; two-year technical degree preferred.
- 3 years of experience.
- Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP and First Article Inspection (FAI).
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably involving machining, complex mechanical assembly, or dimensional inspection.
- Must be able to read a blueprint and understand general dimensioning and tolerancing (GDT) principles and application to inspection.
- This position requires access to information and/or hardware subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants must qualify as a U.S. person under ITAR, defined as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
