Job Title: CNC Turning Machinist Supervisor
Reports to: Production Manager
FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
Jonaco Machine is a full-service precision machining supplier with over 50 years of industry experience producing a portfolio of complex, close tolerance parts for customers in the aerospace/defense, medical and high technology industries.
We have an opportunity for a CNC Turning Supervisor to join our team. Qualified candidates will perform any work needed to support the operations of the department with two precision machining facilities.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Balances available labor hours with production requirements to maximize on-time delivery performance.
Sets up machines and equipment.
Confers with Productions Manager and other supervisors to coordinate the activities of individual departments.
Analyzes and resolves work related problems or assists subordinates in solving work related problems.
Suggests process changes to increase the efficiency of the department.
Interprets specifications, blueprints and job orders for, and assigns duties to, subordinates
Interprets and enforces company policy and safety regulations.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and the quality of products.
Provides subordinates with any needed training.
Performs employee evaluations, completes all assigned Performance Appraisals & established defined developed goals.
Works with the Quality Department to review part discrepancies.
Disciplines, coaches, trains and evaluates subordinates.
Assists with the hiring and termination process.
Keeps team informed of known actions written or verbal, which may affect the ability to successfully perform assignments or adversely affect the Company operations.
Provides Other Support Whether Apparent, Required Or Needed.

Qualifications
5 years experience running CNC Milling Machines
3 years’ experience in a Lead or Supervisory role
High School Education or GED required. A Technical Degree preferred
