Are you a motivated problem-solver who can accurately diagnose system issues, ensure code compliance, and provide exceptional customer service?
We are looking for a dependable, skilled, licensed Plumber to join our team! You will be responsible for service and new construction job sites that include, but are not limited to installing, repairing, and maintaining water, gas, and sanitation systems in residential and commercial buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Installation: Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water, gas, drainage, and heating systems for service and new construction applications.
- Diagnosis & Repair: Troubleshoot plumbing issues, locate the source of leaks, and clear blockages in drains and sewer lines.
- Inspections & Testing: Inspect pipelines and test plumbing systems with pressure gauges to ensure safety and functionality.
- Project Planning: Read blueprints and building codes to map out plumbing layouts and ensure all work meets regulatory standards.
- Client Communication: Prepare cost estimates, explain repairs or installations clearly to clients.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Completion of a recognized plumbing apprenticeship or trade school certification.
- Licensing: Valid Connecticut issued plumbing license (e.g., Journeyman or Master Plumber).
- Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of field experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, operating plumbing tools and a valid Connecticut drivers license.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in confined/awkward spaces, manual dexterity, and capacity to lift heavy materials.
