Overview
As a Personal Lines Insurance Agent, you’ll help clients understand and choose insurance coverage for personal needs, including property and casualty insurance. You’ll build trusted relationships, explain options clearly, and guide clients through the sales process. Duties
- Assess client needs, explain policy options, and support insurance sales through clear client communication and negotiation.
- Review applications and policy details, using analysis skills to identify relevant coverage and resolve questions.
Requirements
- Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills; experience in insurance sales or another sales setting is helpful.
- Knowledge of property and casualty insurance is important.
- Microsoft Office skills are preferred.
- Ability to learn applicable insurance regulations and handle client information responsibly.
- Applicants without an insurance license must be willing to study for, take, and pass the required licensing exam.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
