Jon Ossoff for Senate is seeking a Deputy Special Projects Director for Recruitment to support our growing team for the 2026 re-election campaign. This position will report directly to the Special Projects Director and will be primarily responsible for recruitment efforts for the campaign's paid relational organizing efforts. The ideal candidate is someone with 2-3 cycles of experience in field or organizing who has a passion for direct voter contact and infrastructure building. Innovative tactics for recruitment and community engagement is highly encouraged.

- Regularly identify recruitment opportunities at events and the planning and execution of staffing those events
- Stand up recruitment events like block parties, cook outs, tailgates, and campus events to recruit applicants
- Draft recruitment language for texting scripts and for other forms of recruitment.
- Oversee junior level staff who will assist with recruitment efforts
- Work interdepartmentally to identify recruitment opportunities through digital or paid media opportunities.
- Be primarily responsible for meeting quantitative goals set by the Special Projects Director.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 2-5 years of professional experience in a field or organizing role on political campaigns
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in common productivity and data tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar)
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
- Self-starter mentality with a willingness to take initiative
- Experience with relational organizing programs is preferred, but not required
