Role Description
The Co-Counsel will work collaboratively to provide dedicated legal support and advocacy for clients in the areas of bankruptcy, probate administration, and related legal matters. This hybrid contract role is based in Palm City, FL, with a combination of in-office responsibilities and remote work flexibility. Daily responsibilities include preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, assisting with client consultations, representing clients in court proceedings, and contributing to case strategy development. The Co-Counsel will work closely with the principal attorney to ensure clients receive effective, compassionate, and personalized legal support.
Qualifications
- Strong legal knowledge in Bankruptcy, Probate Administration, and probate litigation
- Exceptional skills in legal research, drafting, and reviewing legal documents
- Experience with courtroom proceedings and legal advocacy
- Outstanding analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently on legal cases
- Familiarity with asset protection strategies and trust establishment is a plus
- Active membership in the Florida Bar in good standing
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience is required
