Content Assistant Intern Summer 2026
About the Role:
Jomboy Media is looking for an NYC-based intern to assist the Executive Assistant to our CEO. This is a hybrid internship (3 days in-office/2 days WFH) for someone who's equal parts organized and creative — you’ll get hands-on experience with content creation and social media planning for one of our company’s leading voices.
Responsibilities:
- Film and edit short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Assist with content planning and scheduling via Rella
- Maintain an organized library/log of all posted and scheduled content
- Help execute bulk content recording sessions
- Pitch creative ideas to enhance storytelling and personal brand voice
- Stay up to date on social media trends, viral formats, and relevant media opportunities
- Monitor basic social media analytics and provide insights to help guide content strategy
Requirements:
- Passionate about social media, content creation, and storytelling
- Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, TikTok, or other editing tools
- Experience filming and editing short-form content for social platforms
- Comfortable staying on top of trends and learning about social media strategy
- Organized, proactive, and collaborative
We’re looking for someone with working proficiency in Canva, CapCut and TikTok- you should feel confident editing short-form content and creating simple graphics. A strong understanding of social media analytics (especially on Instagram and LinkedIn) is highly encouraged.
You will need to submit content you’ve created yourself for consideration.
*Our internship program is currently unpaid. Candidates must receive school credit.
