We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team at Jomar Electrical Contractors. In this role, you will oversee complex electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with our high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multi-million dollar projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and internal teams to facilitate effective project execution.
- Lead by example with a “Safety First” mentality and ensure the teams are held to the highest safety standards.
- Utilize construction management software to track project progress and maintain documentation.
- Review blueprints and schematics to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Conduct site visits to monitor project status and address any issues that arise.
- Prepare detailed project estimates and budgets based on scope of work.
- Implement best practices in project management to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- 10 years experience as a Project Manager in the electrical construction industry with electrical projects.
- Previous proven experience handling multi-million dollar electrical projects is a must.
- Strong knowledge of project delivery, blueprint reading, and schematics.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore or BlueBeam is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
