Roofer/Laborer

Jolly Roofing & Contracting Co., LLC is a leading regional commercial roofing contractor known for quality workmanship and a strong commitment to safety. We are seeking an experienced Roofer/Laborer to support the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial roofing systems, with a primary focus on single-ply roofing and metal installations.

Position Overview

As a Roofer/Laborer, you will play a hands-on role in commercial roofing projects, assisting with roofing system installations, metal work, and job-site operations. This position requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial roofing systems, primarily single ply (TPO, EPDM, etc.)

• Perform metal installations, including coping, gutters, and edge metal

• Safely operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, man lifts, and roofing machinery

• Prepare job sites and perform daily clean-up

• Follow all safety protocols, including fall protection and OSHA regulations

• Handle and transport roofing materials and tools

• Work collaboratively with technicians and crew members to meet project deadlines

• Maintain high-quality workmanship and a clean, safe work environment

Requirements

• Experience with single-ply roofing systems (other commercial roofing experience a plus)

• Knowledge of metal roofing components, including coping, gutters, and edge metal

• Ability to operate heavy equipment (forklifts, man lifts, etc.)

• Valid state ID or driver's license

• Ability to perform physical labor, lift materials, and work at heights

• Strong commitment to job-site safety and compliance with OSHA standards
