Role Overview:
This position will be in the Human Resources (HR) Department - Learning & Development at the Support Center, West Covina. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing or conducting required company training programs for all levels in the organization.
Core Training Management Skills:
· Training Needs Analysis: Identifying the gap between current employee skills and the skills needed to meet organizational goals.
· Instructional Design: Creating engaging and effective training materials and programs.
· Curriculum Development: Designing and organizing training programs, including selecting appropriate topics and delivery methods.
· Project Management:Planning, organizing, and managing training projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
· Assessment and Evaluation: Measuring the effectiveness of training programs and making adjustments as needed.
· Data Analysis: Analyzing data to track training program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
· Learning Management Systems (LMS): Proficiency in using LMS software to manage training programs and learner records.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related course preferred;
• At least 2 years of progressive Training & Development experience as Training/Learning specialist OR any equivalent combination of education & experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
• Training experience within the food/restaurant industry is a MUST.
• Must have a working knowledge of & practical experience with the Instructional System Design or ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implement & Evaluate), including Learning Management System (LMS) OR its equivalent.
• Experience in e-learning, learning management systems, and blended-learning approaches, preferred
• Experience in writing manuals or developing training materials, preferred.
• Above Average written and oral communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Good public speaking, interpersonal, facilitating and training skills
• Computer literate (Windows Operating System, MS Applications, Oracle, SAP, P.O.S. Net, etc.)
CERTIFICATIONS (preferred):
Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM™).
Certified Training Practitioner (CTP) or equivalent.
