Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs using excellent communication skills.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately.
• Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, cash drawer management, and balancing registers at shift end.
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities.
• Maintain stock levels by assisting with stocking shelves and merchandising products to enhance store presentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions about products, store policies, and promotions.
• Demonstrate phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely.
• Support the team with basic retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and totals.
• Assist with inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and product organization.
• Promote store sales through upselling techniques while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in bilingual settings is advantageous.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and cash handling procedures.
• Knowledge of retail store product details and merchandising principles.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions.
• Experience in supervising or leading team members is beneficial but not required.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or evenings as needed.
