Jolie American Bistro is seeking a polished, experienced, hospitality-driven server to join our professional front-of-house team.

We are a chef-driven, community-focused restaurant known for elevated cuisine, warm service, and a refined yet approachable guest experience.

We are building a long-term professional service team and are looking for someone who genuinely loves hospitality, someone warm, charismatic, engaging, and confident in creating memorable experiences for guests.

This is a full-time position averaging approximately 30–40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of serving experience, including strong fine-dining experience
• Solid wine knowledge and confidence with:
• Wine styles and regions
• Professional bottle presentation and wine service
• Strong understanding of:
• Course pacing and timing
• Seat numbers and table positioning
• Communication and coordination with the kitchen
• Ability to remain calm, polished, and detail-oriented during high-volume service
• A genuine willingness to consistently go above and beyond for guests

This is a hands-on role. We value team members who take ownership of their section while supporting the overall flow of service.

• Able to handle guest concerns professionally and independently
• Strong in communication with both guests and teammates
• Polished in appearance, grooming, and professional presence
• Open to coaching, feedback, and continuous training

Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive, polished fine-dining service
• Confidently recommend wines and execute proper wine and table-side service
• Accurately enter orders using Toast POS
• Maintain full knowledge of menu items, ingredients, daily features, and allergy awareness
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve issues with professionalism
• Maintain clean, organized tables and service stations
• Support the team by running food, polishing glassware, and maintaining smooth floor flow
• Work closely with the kitchen and leadership team to ensure seamless and well-paced service
• Help create a welcoming, energetic atmosphere during patio events and special experiences

Additional Requirements

• Reliable and punctual with a strong attendance record
• Available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
• Must have, or be willing to obtain, required Florida food handler certification
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Position Details

Position: Full-Time Server (30–40 Hours Per Week)
Compensation: Hourly Tips
