Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist located in Odessa, FL. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess and provide therapy to children with a variety of communication disorders. Daily responsibilities include evaluating speech and language abilities, designing therapy plans, conducting one-on-one intervention sessions, and collaborating with caregivers to support ongoing development and progress.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Speech Therapy and Speech-related intervention techniques
- Experience working with individuals with Dysphagia and other swallowing difficulties
- Knowledge and expertise in assessing and treating Communication Disorders and Language Disorders
- Understanding of the DIRFloortime Model or willingness to learn and apply its principles
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a valid SLP license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with children, families, and other professionals
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive environment and supporting neurodiverse children
- Pediatric therapy experience is preferred
