Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Foreign Disclosure Representative, where you will play a vital role in managing the dissemination of sensitive military and intelligence information to foreign partners. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct first-level reviews of foreign disclosure requests received through applicable Government systems and screen requests for appropriate release authorities.
- Coordinate with requestors as necessary to obtain additional information or documentation required to process foreign disclosure actions.
- Assist USARCENT staff in interpreting and applying the National Disclosure Policy (NDP) to USARCENT information and products.
- Provide guidance regarding classification, releasability, and disclosure considerations associated with information proposed for release.
- Review documents, imagery, equipment information, data, and other materials proposed for foreign disclosure and prepare staff actions for review and approval by the USARCENT Foreign Disclosure Officer.
- Manage and coordinate foreign visit requests involving USARCENT or subordinate organizations.
- Review foreign visit requests and provide recommendations for approval or disapproval in accordance with applicable requirements.
- Coordinate with appropriate internal and external organizations to validate, process, and track foreign disclosure and foreign visit requests.
- Maintain appropriate records and documentation associated with foreign disclosure actions and decisions.
Experience:
- Must posess 3-5 years of relevant foreign disclosure experience preferred.
- Previous experience as a Foreign Disclosure Officer, Foreign Disclosure Representative, or in a comparable foreign disclosure role preferred.
- Completion of the Army Foreign Disclosure Officer Course, DIA Foreign Disclosure Officer Course, or equivalent training preferred..
- Knowledge of the National Disclosure Policy and applicable foreign disclosure policies and procedures preferred.
- Experience supporting a Combatant Command (COCOM), Army Service Component Command (ASCC), or comparable DoD headquarters environment preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple organizations.
- Must posess active secret clearance, TS/SCI preferred.
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain required Government access and credentials, including a Common Access Card (CAC), and comply with applicable DoD, Army, installation, information assurance, security, and training requirements.
