JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the EESISP Supervisors, under close supervision, the Temporary EESISP Associate will perform various duties including but not limited to:
- Serves as back up for processing the certified payrolls.
- Serves as back up for processing adjustments on certificates for contractors.
- Schedule mediation and arbitration calendars monthly which include scan, print, notes to file, letters to attorneys and members.
- Pay invoices to various vendors as well as travel & prescription reimbursement directly to the members.
- Process invoices from out of network pharmacies.
- Track, open and distribute incoming daily mail.
- Serves as back up for Coding of certified payrolls.
- Serves as back up to Print, scan, and email certain screens for Sec 32 to WW&W.
- Serves as back up for CMS reporting.
- Keep Overpayment list updated.
- Process overpayments/reimbursements from TPA.
- Assist in the relief of the receptionist with the telephones.
- Inform TPA when a member has a representative and is prescribed a new medication.
- Review of the deceased members list from Annuity dept as well as the New Members’ Pension list
- Serve as back up for the PPD unit.
- Serves as back up for fulfilling lien requests from attorneys.
- Assist with other related projects or tasks as necessary.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office -- customer service environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as desktop computers, phone, scanner, printer, keyboard, photocopiers, shredder, and fax.
Physical Demands
Sedentary work environment with physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job. This would require the ability to lift files, pull files/forms/books, stand, bending, shred documents, open/close filing cabinets as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a Temporary onsite 35 hours per week– Non-Exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:30AM-4:30PM.
Flexibility: Must be able to work overtime when necessary.
Travel: No travel is expected for this position.
