Description
Joint Implant Surgeons of FL is a multi-specialty medical practice and is currently seeking a FULL TIME Physical Therapy Front Office Associate in our Fort Myers location. This is a very important role and is responsible for daily patient flow and billing our therapy cases.

Some daily responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Greet & check-in/check-out therapy patients
- Assist patients with necessary paperwork (via iPad)
- Enter and/or verify patient demographics in our EMR system, updating if necessary
- Print & prepare patient charts
- Schedule patient appointments
- Obtain insurance verifications
- Review services received by patients, ensuring all services rendered are on encounter form
- Answer incoming calls
- Collect therapy co pays and post charges as needed
Pay to commensurate with experience
Requirements
If you are a person who:
- Has fantastic customer service skills (Medical Office or Therapy experience preferred)
- Is able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
- Has strong verbal & written communications kills
- Has a basic knowledge of office equipment and a computer
- Has a basic knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT Codes (preferred but not required)
- Has a familiarity of commercial insurances, private carriers, HMO's and Medicare (preferred but not required)
