Job Description:
Joint Construction Staffing is hiring reliable General Construction Laborers for active construction projects in Madison and surrounding Wisconsin areas (Fitchburg, Sun Prairie, Middleton, Verona).
We place workers on commercial, residential, and concrete job sites. This is a hands-on physical role supporting skilled trades and keeping job sites running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Perform job site cleanup and debris removal
- Assist concrete crews, carpenters, and other trades
- Dig trenches, move gravel/dirt, and help with site prep
- Set up and remove forms, barricades, and temporary structures
- Use basic hand and power tools
- Help with demolition and general labor tasks
- Follow supervisor instructions and OSHA safety practices
- Lift and carry materials up to 50–100 lbs
- Work outdoors in Wisconsin weather conditions
Requirements:
- Previous construction or labor experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation to job sites in the Madison area
- Ability to work full shifts on your feet
- Steel-toe boots required; other PPE may be provided or required depending on site
- Strong attendance and willingness to work
Pay & Schedule:
- Weekly pay
- Full-time
