- Analyzing and developing sourcing recommendations for military requirements; coordinating with Joint Staff, Combatant Commands.
- Service Headquarters to facilitate the development of allocation plans, such as the Global Force Management Allocation Plan (GFMAP).
- Applying knowledge of military operational planning, force deployment, and national security policy to support joint force coordination.
