Duties

  • Provides authoritative guidance regarding the applicability of regulatory and policy directivesto unusual and precedent-setting situations, often arising as part of the acquisition and management of SAP programs.
  • Leads efforts to document command SAP workforce policies and processes.
  • Represents the J3 and the Command as a participating member of external SAP community working groups tasked to assess DoD initiatives and proposed policies and processes advising on their effect on the DoD cyber community.
  • Participates in special projects and initiatives and performs special assignments.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • The employee may be recalled to duty, may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, and may be required to work overtime.
  • Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military and/or commercial aircraft up to 10% of the time.
  • The employee must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET SCI clearance as a condition of employment and must complete a counter intelligence scope polygraph exam.
  • This is a Drug Testing Designated Position.
  • The incumbent must meet NSA personnel security requirements outlined in NSA/CSS Policy 5-1.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Leading the development and/or documentation of workforce policies to maintain workforce proficiency, and 3. Coordinating strategies vital for mission-critical cyber capabilities.
