Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Planning briefings to coordinate with a team representing Division interests and activities. 2) Working with Sensitive Activities in a Geographical Combatant Command. 3) Overseeing Interagency operations to address strategies on intel collection. 4) Supporting DoD initiatives in foreign affairs and irregular warfare. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
Education

- Create operation plans with the DoD, Interagency and partner nations.
- Advise leadership on progress and conduct of sensitive activities concerning their portfolio.
- Develop strategies as part of a major SC planning efforts in support of the SC campaign plan.
- Coordinate working groups and boards to provide information, request decision and educate leadership, staff and external partners or agencies concerning their particular sensitive activity portfolio.
- Provide oversight assistance to the branch chief in overseeing staff planning, coordination and integration of activities to counter adversaries and meet SC CDR priorities.
- Conduct technical review and requests resources as required to support sensitive activities portfolio.
- Write staff products, taskers, and briefs as requested upon by leadership to support Division requirements.
