Dishwasher - Part Time 4pm - 8:30pm

About the Role

We are seeking a dependable Dishwasher to join ClarkLindsey’s dining services team. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. Every day, the dishwashers contribute to the top-notch dining experience that ClarkLindsey’s residents enjoy.

What You’ll Do

• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, trays, and kitchen equipment, primarily using commercial dishwashing equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of dish room, kitchen floors, and work areas
• Transport supplies and waste as needed
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures
• Support kitchen team with basic cleaning and set-up tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position is physically active and requires the ability to:
• Work around hot water and loud equipment in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Stand and walk for several hours per shift
• Push, pull, lift, and carry items such as racks, carts, and bus tubs
• Lift up to 40–50 lbs on a regular basis
• Bend, reach, stoop, and use hands repetitively throughout the shift

·       Requires sufficient visual acuity to safely operate equipment, read displays and instructions, and verify cleanliness.

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Attention to detail to notice when items or areas need extra cleaning attention

·       Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines

·       Team-oriented attitude

·       Experience in food service or dishwashing is helpful, but not required

·       Some schedule flexibility, as the schedule will include one weekend day per week and holidays

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation range: $16.60 - $17.70 per hour, based on experience
Bonus eligibility: Up to 2% of salary
