Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Estimator specializing in Machining (primary) and Welding/Laser Additive processes. This vital role involves accurately assessing project requirements, preparing detailed cost estimates, and collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to ensure competitive pricing and project success. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, technical expertise, and a passion for manufacturing estimation.
Duties
- Develop comprehensive estimates for machining projects, including CNC machining, turning, milling, and other precision manufacturing processes.
- Prepare detailed proposals for welding and laser additive manufacturing services, considering material specifications and process complexities.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and project management teams to review project scope and technical drawings.
- Conduct negotiations with clients and suppliers to secure favorable pricing while maintaining quality standards.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential cost drivers or risks early in the process.
- Assist in contract review and support project management teams during project execution to control costs effectively.
Experience
- Proven experience in estimating, particularly within manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and project management principles.
Pay: From $34.00 per hour
