Job Title: Purchaser

Location: Sperber Construction - Thonotassa, FL
Position Summary
The Purchaser is responsible for procuring materials, equipment, and supplies to support branch operations. This role ensures cost-effective purchasing, accurate inventory, and timely delivery to job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Create purchase orders and process material requests.
- Source and evaluate vendors for pricing and availability.
- Track and confirm deliveries and backorders.
- Maintain purchasing records and documentation.
- Coordinate with project teams to meet job site timelines.
- Assist with inventory control and cost reporting.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of purchasing or procurement experience.
- Knowledge of landscape/construction materials highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in ERP or purchasing software.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
