Responsibilities
- Operate fabrication equipment such as welders, grinders, saws, and machining tools to shape and assemble materials according to specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, drill, assemble, and finish metal or other materials with precision.
- Handle materials safely using forklifts and other heavy equipment to move raw materials and finished products within the warehouse or manufacturing floor.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication of components.
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques to join metal parts securely while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by following proper materials handling procedures and ensuring all tools are properly maintained.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly processes, quality checks, and troubleshooting fabrication issues to meet production deadlines.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating forklift trucks and heavy machinery for materials handling.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to fabrication techniques, machining processes, and construction standards.
- Experience with welding, machining, millwork, and assembly of metal or composite materials.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety protocols in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately for precise fabrication work.
- Knowledge of materials used in heavy industry including metals, plastics, and composites.

Pay: $23.02 - $30.00 per hour
