Role Description The Business Growth Manager is a part-time, remote role based in Los Angeles, CA, focused on driving revenue, by expanding customer reach, and strengthening Joia’s presence in the wellness market. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and developing new sales channels, building and maintaining relationships with retail partners, gyms, studios, and local businesses, and managing outreach to potential collaborators and influencers. This role will analyze sales performance, customer behavior, and campaign results to identify opportunities for growth and optimize pricing, promotions, and product mix.
The Business Growth Manager role will involve cross-functional collaboration with operations, marketing, and customer service to improve processes, refine customer experience, and scale successful growth strategies.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly, build relationships with partners, and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proven sales skills with a track record of prospecting, pitching, and closing deals, ideally in consumer packaged goods, food & beverage, or wellness.
- Project management skills, including planning, prioritizing, and executing multiple initiatives on time in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working with basic business metrics (e.g., revenue, conversion, retention) and familiarity with CRM or sales tracking tools is a plus.
- Experience in brand development, local marketing, or community outreach within the Los Angeles area is highly beneficial.
- Self-starter mindset, with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to evolving business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
