Warehouse Team Member – Bloomington, MN

Johnstone Supply – Heartland Group is currently hiring a Warehouse Team Member for our Bloomington, MN location. This individual will ensure the efficient operation of the store by accurately and safely receiving, processing, and storing incoming products. Prepare, pack, and scan products for pick-up and delivery and deliver orders efficiently, safely, and on time.

Education and Experience:

Required:

• High School Diploma / GED required OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred:

• 6 months experience in warehouse operations in a wholesale environment
• Experience driving a forklift
• Experience with computer or barcode driven inventory management system

Warehouse Operations

• Basic computer skills, including knowledge and skill in the use of inventory management systems and office software (e.g. Email programs, Internet browsers)
• Basic math skills sufficient to manage inventory, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to use computer systems and manual procedures for organizing and identifying products and communicating with coworkers.
• Adequate physical strength and stamina to repeatedly lift, carry, move, and set down up to 75 pounds.
• Skill in operation of heavy equipment, including delivery vehicles, forklift, pallet jack, and order picker.
• Strict attention to detail

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift, carry, and load up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the day; climb and balance on ladders and equipment; walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl; and reach, push, pull and manipulate. The employee is also frequently required to lift in excess of 100 pounds with mechanical assistance or the assistance of coworkers.

Work Environment: Most work is performed in a warehouse environment without air conditioning, which may include hot and cold temperatures, dust, dirt, and noise.

Pay Range: $20-$22/hr.
