Summary
We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Worker/Driver to join our team in Central Texas. This role is equally split between warehouse operations and local deliveries. You will be responsible for tasks such as receiving, stocking, order picking, and maintaining inventory accuracy, as well as ensuring safe and timely deliveries to our customers. Your work will play a key role in supporting our mission to be the go-to resource for contractors in the HVACR sector. Responsibilities
Warehouse Duties
- Receive, process, and store incoming shipments quickly and accurately.
- Inspect deliveries, document damages or shortages, and initiate freight claims when necessary.
- Verify shipment accuracy against packing lists and prepare receiving reports.
- Pick, pack, and prepare products for transfers, pickups, and deliveries.
- Process shipping documentation (bills of lading, packing lists, parcel manifests).
- Load vehicles and assist with customer will-call orders.
- Handle customer returns, warranty paperwork, and product staging.
- Perform cycle counts and support annual physical inventory.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely (reporting any concerns).
Driving & Delivery Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver HVAC products to customer locations.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness.
- Assist customers with unloading and secure delivery confirmations.
- Ensure timely deliveries while following all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safety practices.
- Occasionally transport items to other store locations.
Additional Support Duties
- Assist with customer service, including phones and sales counter support when needed.
- Support special projects and assignments to ensure smooth store operations.
- Demonstrate teamwork by assisting in areas beyond primary responsibilities.
General Expectations
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Maintain professional communication with customers and coworkers.
- Wear appropriate PPE and maintain required certifications (e.g., forklift, hazmat).
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Regularly lift, carry, and load up to 75 lbs throughout the day; team-lift or use equipment for heavier loads.
- Work involves standing, walking, climbing ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
- Warehouse environment without air conditioning—exposure to hot/cold temperatures, dust, dirt, and noise.
