Job Summary and Qualifications
The mammographer is responsible for performing high quality x-ray exams of the breast to help diagnose and monitor breast conditions. Responsibilities include preparing patients for the procedure, operating specialized equipment to create images, evaluating image quality, and adhering to strict safety protocols. This role requires close collaboration with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate results and provide patient care and comfortWhat qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- (ARRT-R) Radiography
- Vocational School Graduate
- (ARRT-M) Mammography, or Mammographic Radiologic Technologist
