Duties
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging procedures based on patient needs.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results.
- Assist in urgent care settings as needed, providing timely diagnostic support.
- Stay updated on advancements in diagnostic radiology and medical imaging technologies.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist from an accredited program.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic evaluation techniques and medical imaging procedures.
- Familiarity with physiology knowledge relevant to radiology practices.
- Proficiency in operating imaging equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments, particularly in urgent care situations.
