Role Description The Reconstruction Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Charlotte, NC. This position coordinates all phases of reconstruction projects, from initial assessment and scope development through scheduling, execution, and final walkthrough. Day-to-day tasks include communicating with homeowners and partners, preparing and updating project timelines, organizing subcontractors and in-house crews, and ensuring materials and permits are secured and available on schedule. The Reconstruction Coordinator tracks project progress, updates job files and internal systems, supports insurance-related documentation, and helps resolve issues in the field to keep projects on time and within budget. This role works closely with project managers, estimators, and field technicians to maintain quality standards and a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
- Project coordination and scheduling skills, including managing multiple jobs, timelines, and resources in a fast-paced restoration environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills to interact with homeowners, property managers, insurance representatives, and trade partners.
- Basic construction and reconstruction knowledge, including familiarity with rebuild processes, materials, and trade workflows.
- Organizational and documentation skills, such as maintaining detailed job files, preparing reports, and supporting insurance-related paperwork.
- Proficiency with common office and project management software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, scheduling tools; experience with restoration or construction platforms is a plus).
