An established manufacturing and construction company in Egg Harbor Township is seeking a detail-oriented, local Accounts Payable Specialist. This role handles high-volume invoicing, purchase orders, and job costing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all accounts payable, delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
- Enter invoices for payment and route unapproved invoices to proper personnel for approval.
- Prepare weekly payment runs.
- Record company credit card transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of vendor payments for 1099 processing.
- Follow up with vendors/subs calling for payment and maintain vendor inquiry log.
- Additional duties as directed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Intermediate Excel Skills: Must be comfortable navigating spreadsheets, sorting data, and using basic formulas.
- Industry Experience: 1-2 years of experience handling invoices, matching purchase orders, or working within a construction, manufacturing, or distribution environment is preferred.
- Reliable Local Attendance: Must reside within a sustainable daily driving distance of Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
