What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technology Assistant (seasonal) position at Johnston Community School District?
Seasonal (summer) position providing support to the Technology Department in the following areas:
- Assist with iPAD collection
- Assist with removal of outdated classroom technology
- Prepare iPads for re-distribution
- Assist with computer lab and laptop refreshes
- Assist with laptop refreshes
- Assist with imaging equipment for district-wide projects
- Recycle retired technology equipment
- Other duties
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to ascend/descend ladder
- Preferred start date: 6/15/2026
Hours: 40 hours per week, approximately 7:30am - 3:30pm Monday-Friday
Rate: $17.50 per hour
