Position Overview
Pay Range: $23.77/hr - $24.26/hr
Hours: 5:00am – 1:30pm; Monday-Friday (Overtime as production demands)

- Manufacture “great tasting” sausage products that are enjoyed by millions of people around the world

Skills

- Ability to read and understand a production schedule
- Demonstrated ability to lead other Members and work without direct supervision
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to learn and grow to become skilled to operate different pieces of equipment on a daily and/or weekly basis in a back-up capacity
- Ability to document job responsibilities and be part of writing and maintaining DPS programs for new equipment
- Excellent attendance and performance record
- Necessity and ability to learn and share learning with others
- Ability to work in other production line/rooms within the facility when this specific line is not running production is required.
- Willing to learn Sanitation responsibilities
- Ability to work in a machine operator back-up role in addition to the primary role of Trayer/Packer
- Ability to use and troubleshoot basic SAP functions on a hand-held scanner and on the computer
- Based on business necessity, must be proficient in English.
