What are the responsibilities and job description for the Meat Clerk position at Johnsons Giant Food?
Meat clerks are responsible for keeping the pre-packaged meat section well stocked and orderly in appearance and keep fresh and frozen meat cases stocked and rotated for freshness. Meat clerks will order and unload product, stock shelves and build displays; as required. Meat clerks will maintain a clean work area, follow all safety rules and perform other tasks as assigned. Other tasks to be performed may be in a meat prep area. They must be familiar with store products and their locations in order to assist customers.
