Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Paralegal to join our Personal Injury team in Texas. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for client service. This role is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being an integral part of trial preparation and case strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive litigation support for personal injury cases from intake through trial.
- Draft, file, and manage legal documents, pleadings, discovery requests, and responses.
- Organize, review, and summarize medical records and other case-related documents.
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness files, and trial binders.
- Maintain accurate case files and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Conduct factual and legal research as needed.
- Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in personal injury litigation.
- Paralegal certificate or degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
- Strong knowledge of litigation processes, court rules, and filing procedures in Texas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with case management software is a plus.
